Coffey Northumbrian On Hand To Replace Mains In Kilkenny

Contractor Coffey Northumbrian has been deployed to replace ageing water mains in Kilkenny city.

The scheme will see a old old cast iron water mains replaced outside Apple Green Service Station St Cancie's Place, Dean Street. Modern pipes will be installed along Rothe Terrace on the Circular Road to junction with Kennyswell Rd / Emmet Street.

A weekday periodic Stop & Go traffic management system will be in operation for four weeks between Thursday 08 August and Friday 06 September from 7.30am to 5pm.

The works are part of Irish Water's Leakage Reduction Programme.
