Irish Water has announced plans to carry out essential cleaning works at Dunshaughlin Water Tower in County Meath.
These works will be carried out from 8am on Wednesday 11 September until 7am on Thursday 12 September.
During the project, the water supply to homes and businesses will be maintained, however customers in Dunshaughlin and surrounding areas may experience slightly lower water pressure than usual.
Areas that may be impacted by lower water pressure include Dunshaughlin town, Lagore, Leshamstown, Redbog, Rackenstown, Powderlough, Growtown, Mooretown, Porterstown, Rathbeggan, Raynestown and surrounding areas.
Following the completion of the works at the plant it may take a number of hours for normal water supply to resume for all customers.
Meath County Council is partnering with Irish Water to deliver the essential works.
