Phase Two Of Ebrington Site Progressing Ahead Of Schedule

The development of the Ebrington site in Londonderry is progressing ahead of schedule.

Updates on phase two of the shared space were delivered in a meeting between Sinn Féin MP Elisha McCallion and Ebrington Holdings.

It was also confirmed that major outdoor events will continue at Ebrington alongside plans for residential developments.

Deputy McCallion explained: "Following the recent announcement of plans for residential developments on the site for over 55s, Ebrington Holding confirmed to me that this will in no way impact on the large outdoor events held throughout the year on the parade ground.

"All tenants of the site, both business and residential, will be fully in support of the outdoor events such as concerts continuing."

She added: "Ebrington has on much potential and it is great seeing progress being made towards realising that with people working and living on the site.

"I will continue to work with Ebrington Holdings to ensure the opportunities of this site are realised for the people of the city."
