Construction Work Begins At Dublin's Tymon Park

Work is underway in Tymon Park, Dublin, to reconstruct one of the football pitches.

Pitch Number 148 will be upgraded in the project with work phased over two stages.

Phase one of the project began today, 16 September, and will be completed by November 2019.

The second phase will commence in March 2020 and be completed by May 2020.

Following construction, seed establishment and maintenance will get underway.

Throughout the works, Pitch Number 148 will be fenced off from the public to ensure safe working practices are adhered to. Temporary traffic management measures will also be put in place during the construction period.
