Residents in the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council area are set to benefit from a new home energy improvements seminar.
The local authority is hosting the event next month, Sunday 13 October, in the LexIcon Studio from noon to 2pm and 2pm-4pm.
Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland will give advice on home energy improvements and the SEAI grants available for carrying them out. Codema, Dublin's Energy Agency, will provide useful tips on energy-saving actions and how to carry out a minienergy audit of your home with the Home Energy Saving Kit, available on a free loan from the library.
Architect Art McCormack will also share his experience of achieving a sustainable home with a high performance in energy efficiency, comfort and indoor air quality.
This event forms part of DLR Council's Open House Dublin programme.
