Resurfacing Work Announced In Tyrone Village

Road works have been announced in the County Tyrone village of Fivemiletown.

The £75,000 scheme will see a section of the A4 Colebrooke Road and Main Street improved from Fivemiletown College to Edfield Way. It will help improve the structural integrity of the road and address ongoing maintenance problems.

Work will begin on Monday 07 October and run until Sunday 13 October.

Colebrooke Road and Main Street Fivemiletown will be closed from 6.30pm to 6.30am from 07-12 October. The road will be open on Saturday 12 October but closed between 6.30am and 8.30pm on Sunday 13 October to complete final resurfacing.

During these times a two-way signed diversion route will be in place via Clabby and Tempo to Enniskillen to by-pass Fivemiletown. Local and pedestrian access will be accommodated during the closure.

Road users should expect some delays and are advised to leave additional time when planning any journeys.
