Essential works have begun to safeguard the water supply in Peamount, Co Dublin, today, 07 October.
Irish Water is carrying out the work alongside South Dublin County Council as part of the €35 million Leixlip Saggart Water Main project. This multi-million euro scheme will improve the resilience of the water network in the Greater Dublin Area and enable residential and commercial development.
Work will run in Peamount until 5pm on Wednesday 16 October. The water supply network has been reconfigured so as to maintain water supply for all customers while these necessary works are underway.
Despite this, customers have been informed of potential variations in water pressure from time to time during the works.
