Northern Ireland firm Henry Brothers has backed up its recent NI Chamber of Commerce award with two more accolades.
The company was shortlisted in four categories at the recent Annual Construction Employers Federation Awards: Infrastructure; Health for the NI Fire & Rescue Service project at Desertcreat, Cookstown; The Transport and Utilities Award – for Milewater Service Station project, Translink; The Training Award and The Environmental Sustainability Award.
They were presented with the award for Environmental Sustainability as well as the prize for Training.
Speaking on the recent wins, Managing Director David Henry said: "We are absolutely delighted to win these prestigious awards. As a family business with over forty years of history in construction we are very proud to win Family Business of the Year in the Chamber of Commerce Awards, and as a family we look forward to representing Northern Ireland in the UK final of this competition.
"We are also very pleased to be presented with the Construction Employers Federation 2019 Award for Environmental Sustainability, recognising our commitment to the protection, preservation and enhancement of the natural Environment.
"We also saw off some stiff competition to win The Construction Employers Federation 2019 Award for Training, providing recognition of our commitment to our workforce and the value that we place in developing our people, in building their knowledge and skills, supporting them personally and professionally as key members of our Henry Brothers team, and additionally as we continually reach out to schools and colleges, encouraging new interest in the construction sector."
