Northern Ireland-based GRAHAM has been recognised for its work on a hospital in Airdrie, Scotland.

The contractor was presented with the prize for 'Refurbishment Project of the Year' at the Healthcare Estates IHEEM Awards 2019. This was in recognition of the transformation of University Hospital Monklands.

The firm worked to deliver a 12-phase redevelopment programme at Monklands Hospital to enhance the standard of patient care delivered to a catchment population of 260,000.

IHEEM Awards judges recognised that the work on the theatre and intensive care unit was 'completed with minimal disruption to patient care and clinical activity'.
