Roadworks To Take Place On North Antrim Coast

The coastal village of Ballintoy in Antrim is set to be the subject of road resurfacing work next week.

Roadworks will begin on the Whitepark Road on Monday 25 November, running until Sunday 01 December.

The £232,000 scheme will see almost 2 kilometres resurfaced from the vicinity of Glenstaughey Road to approximately 200m before Scally's Road.

Daily road closures will be in place between 7.30am and 5.30pm throughout the works. During these times a diversion will be in place via the A2 Maghery Road - A2 Straid Road and vice versa.

Drivers should expect some delays and are advised to leave additional time when planning any journeys.
