Water supply has been successfully restored in Ballycotton, Co Cork, after airlocks affected the network.
Irish Water deployed a team to restore supply to areas affected, which included Ballycotton, Maytown, Ballyandreen, Ballydavid, Churchtown South and surrounding lands.
The work was cleared and supply returned by 8pm yesterday, 28 November.
The incident happened after low reservoir levels prior to a Boil Water Notice being issued on the Whitegate Public Water Supply caused airlocks in the network.
