Programme Of Sewer Works Announced In Antrim

Sewer works are set to take place in the County Antrim townland of Monkstown starting early next year.

NI Water is leading the project, which will see approximately 175 metres of sewers and associated manholes laid on Devenish Drive to serve a new development. BSG Civil Engineering will serve as contractor.

Work will begin on 06 January 2020 and run for five weeks.

A temporary lane closure will be implemented daily during the 8am to 5pm working hours. Traffic management will be in place and two-way traffic will be maintained with the use of temporary traffic lights. Vehicular access will be maintained for residents but may be subject to slight delay and pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Parking restrictions will be in place around the working area.
