Construction work has commenced to improve a section of the Portglenone Road in Co Antrim.
This £300,000 scheme will see work take place over a 1.6km area from near the Ballybollen Road to Whitesides Road.
The Department for Infrastructure is leading the scheme, with completion expected by the end of the month.
A full weekday road closure will be implemented between the hours of 7am and 6pm to facilitate the work. It will also be necessary to close the Whitesides Road and Roguery Road at the junction of the Portglenone Road from 8pm on Friday 17 January 2020 until 6pm on Sunday 19 January 2020.
Diversions will be clearly signposted.
Members of the public have been urged to comply with all temporary traffic restrictions and drive with extra care when travelling in the vicinity of the works.
