A watermain has burst in the Fingal area, causing a disruption to supply for local homes and businesses.
The incident happened in Garristown, resulting in a team being deployed to the site. Work is also required on the Cottrelstown pumping station.
Irish Water is working with Fingal County Council to restore supply later today, 19 March. Once the repairs are successfully completed, normal water supply will begin to be restored. Full water supply may take 1-2 hours to return as water refills the network.
The utility understands the inconvenience when a burst occurs and thanks customers for their patience while they work to repair the burst and restore normal supply to impacted customers.
