Works To Start On £146,000 Road Improvement Scheme In Lisburn

Road works are to start on a £146,000 resurfacing scheme in Lisburn, County Antrim.

The works on the A1 Laganbank Road are to begin on 31 August.

The scheme will also refresh the advanced stop lines for cyclists, stretches from Queen's Road to Hillsborough Road.

The work will be carried out overnight and a full road closure will operate between the hours of 7pm and 6am from Monday 31 August until Saturday 05 September.

A diversionary route will operate via Linenhall Street, Smithfield Street, Hillsborough Road, Market Place, Bow Street, Antrim Street, Bachelors Walk, Railway Street, Market Square, Market Street and Linenhall Street.
