Work has started on a £116,000 resurfacing project in Whitehead, Co Antrim.
The scheme, which extends for a distance of approximately 295 metres between Kings Road and Beach Road, will provide improved ride quality for both motorist and cyclists.
The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) has planned the road works and associated traffic management arrangements in order to minimise inconvenience to the public. Road users are being advised to allow extra time for their journey and to follow the alternative routes which will be clearly signed on the approaches to the works.
The work is expected to be completed on 02 October.
