The first meeting of the new 'Lord Mayor's Task Force on Homelessness' has taken place in Dublin.
The meeting took place via Microsoft Teams between the Lord Mayor of Dublin Hazel Chu, who was based at the Mansion House, and a number of Dublin City Council officials and Councillors.
She said: "As I said on the night I was made first citizen, the issue of homelessness is one of my key priorities for my term in office. Having a home is a basic human right and no one should be homeless in Dublin in the year 2020. Over the next few months I look forward to working with this dedicated and enthusiastic team to come up with some practical ideas to help tackle this issue."
The Task Force will meet every week between now and the second week in December.
