Essential works are being carried out to repair a damaged sewer in Wexford.
The work at the R772 at Ferns Village Roundabout will continue until Wednesday 16 September.
Significant traffic delays are expected and motorists are being advised of longer journey times.
The essential works are necessary to build a foul sewer manhole that requires an excavation of approximately 3.5 meters on clay main sewer. This is to accommodate the repair/replacement of the damaged 150 diameter sewer due to the damaged that was caused to the existing sewer.
Irish Water has apologised for ant inconvenience caused.
