Chair Appointed To Belfast City Council's Working Group On Climate Crisis

Green Party NI Councillor Brian Smyth has been appointed Chair of Belfast City Council’s Working Group on Climate Crisis.

Cllr Smyth said his vision for Belfast is for a city ready for the challenges of climate breakdown and the ecological crisis.

He said: "This is about Belfast being at the forefront of the just transition to a low carbon economy and the creation of green jobs.

"I want to create healthier, happier communities and give our young people a liveable future."
