GMC Utilities Starts Watermain Work In Fingal

GMC Utilites has started work to construct almost 1.5km of new watermain in Fingal.

The work is taking place along the Brackenstown road in order to safeguard the water supply to homes and businesses in the area.

The works on behalf of Irish Water are scheduled to be completed in mid-October. The works are being delivered under the Irish Water Leakage Reduction Programme.

Areas of work will be limited to short sections to minimise impact on customers. Traffic management will be in place during this time. Local and emergency traffic will be maintained at all times.

The works may involve some short-term water shut offs and the project team will ensure that customers are given a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to any planned water shut offs.
