Work is to begin on a £250,000 road improvement scheme in Clady, Co Tyrone.
The resurfacing scheme on a section of the A42 Clady Road, from the Glenone crossroads to the Moneygran Road, will commence on Monday 28 September 2020.
The improvement project will extend a distance of approximately 580m in length. The works will also include for the upgrade to 390m of existing footpath from the Clady Road development towards Portglenone to help encourage sustainable travel in the area.
For the period of the works from Monday 28 September to Friday 30 October two-way traffic flow will be maintained on Clady Road with lane closures under traffic signal control.
From Monday 02 November to Sunday 15 November the A42 Clady Road will be closed to through traffic, between the Glenone crossroads and Ballymacombs Road, Portglenone. During the road closure a two-way traffic diversion will be in operation along the Glenone Road, A54 Ballymacombs Road.
The work is expected to be completed by 15 November.
