Work To Start On £165,000 Carriageway Scheme In Craigavon

Work is to start on a £165,000 carriageway resurfacing project on the Highfield Grove in Craigavon.

Work on the improvement scheme will start on Saturday, 10 October.

The scheme extends a distance of approximately 470 metres between the A3 Central Way and Highfield Road junctions, and includes resurfacing of the carriageway and upgrading of road drainage.

An overnight road closure will be put in place each night between the hours of 7pm and 6am from Saturday 10 October to Friday 23 October 2020. A diversion will be in place for vehicles to access Marlborough Retail Park. Diversion routes will be signed using the A3 Central Way, A3 Northway, Highfield Road and A27 Mandeville Road.

The road will be open to traffic in the daytime during the week and weekends and local access for deliveries and emergency services will be maintained at all times during the works.
