Work To Replace Old Watermains In Cavan Complete

Work to replace old and damaged watermains in Cavan has been completed.

The work took place on the Baileborough Road in Shercock.

The works involved replacing approximately 350 metres of old watermains and laying new water service connections from the public water main in the road to customers’ property boundaries and connecting it to the customer’s water supply. The improvement works will improve the quality of the water supply and will also reduce the instances of bursts and water outages ensuring a reliable supply of water to customers and local businesses in the area.
