BSG Civil Engineering To Work On Urgent Sewer Connection

BSG Civil Engineering has been appointed to work on an urgent sewer connection in Armagh.

The work will commence on the Newry Road on Sunday, 11 October, and are expected to be completed in three days.

The works are required to address an ongoing flooding issue in the area.

Traffic management arrangements for the works will be as follows:

Road Closure - Sunday 11 October

The Newry Road will be closed between the junctions with Folly Lane and Ashley Park from 6am on Sunday 11 to 6am on Monday 12 October to allow a road crossing to be undertaken. A diversion will be clearly signposted via A28 Markethill Road, B78 Mullaghbrack Road, A51 Hamiltonsbawn Road, A51 Barrack Hill, Goal Square, A3 Friary Road and A28 Newry Road.

Lane Closure off Peak - Monday 12th / Tuesday 13th October

On Newry Road between the junctions with Folly Lane and Ashley Park from 9.30am to 4.30pm on Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 October. During this time two-way traffic will be maintained with the use of temporary traffic signals.
