Work has commenced on a £405,000 resurfacing project in Belfast.
Work has started on Suffolk Road with both footways being resurfaced and when this has been completed will be followed with resurfacing of the carriageway, a total distance of approximately 1,300 metres.
Infrastructure Minister Nichola Mallon said: "This much needed investment will greatly improve this busy stretch of road for all who use it. I am committed to increasing the opportunities for active travel and I am pleased that the new pavement being delivered by this scheme will greatly enhance provision for pedestrians."
The scheme is expected to be completed on 18 June.
