Fermanagh's Stairway To Heaven To Close For Maintenance

The popular 'Stairway to Heaven' in Fermanagh is set to close for a few days later this month for maintenance.

Also known as the Cuilcagh Boardwalk, the key tourist attraction will close to the public from Tuesday 21 September to Thursday 23 September inclusive, reopening to walkers on Friday 24 September.

The boardwalk is located within Cuilcagh Lakelands UNESCO Global Geopark. All other sites within Cuilcagh Lakelands UNESCO Global Geopark remain open during this time.

The Cuilcagh Lakelands UNESCO Global Geopark, located in counties Fermanagh and Cavan, contains some of the finest landscapes on the island of Ireland.

There are more than 50 sites in the Cuilcagh Lakelands UNESCO Global Geopark which are open all year round and free of charge to explore.
