Ballynahinch Road To Close For Improvements

A programme of roadworks is set to begin in Ballynahinch, Co Down, next week.

Approximately £110,000 is being invested to resurface a stretch of the Dromara Road from the Hillhead Road to the Ballymacarn Road.

Work will begin on Monday 15 November and is expected to be complete by Friday 17 December.

A series of weekday road closures will be in place throughout the works from 8am until 6pm. During these times a signed diversionary route will be in place using Ballymacarn Road - Burren Road - Bawn Hill Road and vice versa. Local access for residents and emergency services will be maintained at all times.

Road users should expect some delays and are advised to allow additional time when travelling in the vicinity of the works and are asked to comply with all temporary traffic restrictions.
