Cuilcagh Boardwalk To Close For Maintenance Works

Popular Fermanagh trail, The Cuilcagh Boardwalk is set to close next month for scheduled maintenance works.

Known commonly as the Stairway to Heaven, the key attraction will close for two days early in December. It will be closed to the public on Tuesday 07 and Wednesday 08 December, reopening to walkers on Thursday 09 December.

All other sites within Cuilcagh Lakelands UNESCO Global Geopark remain open during this time.

The Cuilcagh Lakelands UNESCO Global Geopark, located in counties Fermanagh and Cavan, contains some of the finest landscapes on the island of Ireland.

There are more than 50 sites in the Cuilcagh Lakelands UNESCO Global Geopark which are open all year round and free of charge to explore.

The Geopark management apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
