Members of the public are being encouraged to have their say on housing in Northern Ireland.
A public consultation has been launched on the Department for Communities' draft Housing Supply Strategy, which aims to create a housing system that can deliver 100,000 plus homes over its 15-year lifetime.
Those interested can take part in the draft Housing Supply Strategy consultation here. The deadline for responses is 09 February 2022.
Of the five key objectives outlined in the Strategy, creating affordable options, quality and decarbonisation are of particular relevance to the built environment.
The Royal Society of Ulster Architects (RSUA) will be responding to this important consultation and is seeking members to contribute to a working group that will draft a response. All members will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the draft RSUA response.
Members willing to participate in the working group, please contact RSUA's Policy and Public Affairs Officer, Emmet Doyle, on [email protected] by Friday 14 January 2022.
