Work is progressing well on the development of a new apartment complex directly on top of the Dublin Port Tunnel.

Main contractor Bennett Construction is working to deliver the new design and build project, bringing 124 new apartments to the area across two blocks.

Construction began on the scheme in July 2021 and is due for completion in February 2023. 

The design has been tweaked to consider any impact that the building could have on the tunnel, with Bennett also opting for modular construction techniques as much as possible, including precast concrete and bathroom pods.

The project is on track to be completed on time.
