Water supply will be restricted from 10pm tonight, 24 February, to help Brayhill Reservoir levels recover and maintain a sufficient water supply to homes and businesses during normal working hours. This will be in place until 6am tomorrow morning, Friday 25 February.
The following locations may experience reduced water pressure or disruption to their supply; Trim; Knightsbrook; Scurlockstown; Effernock; Carberstown; Blackfriary; Crowpark; Clonbun; Rathmolyon and surrounding areas.

It can take two to three hours following restriction for normal supply to be fully restored to all areas but, it is important to continue to follow the HSE guidance on hand-washing.
Irish Water is working in partnership with Meath County to solve the issue.
Speaking about the restriction, Michael Cunniffe, Irish Water said: "Irish Water understands the inconvenience the restriction may cause. The night-time restriction is necessary to ensure a daytime water supply is available for residents and businesses for hygiene and other essential purposes. We are continuing to work to resolve the issue at the plant so that the plant can reliably operate at full production capacity. During the day time, we are appealing to customers to help conserve water by not running taps needlessly, taking showers instead of baths and to postpone using dishwashers and washing machines where possible.
