The restrictions, which were implemented from 10pm last night, Monday 07 Match, until 6am this morning, 08 March, helped Brayhill Reservoir levels recover.
The following locations may have experienced reduced water pressure or disruption to their supply; Trim; Knightsbrook; Scurlockstown; Effernock; Carberstown; Blackfriary; Crowpark; Clonbun; Rathmolyon and surrounding areas.

It can take two to three hours following restriction for normal supply to be fully restored to all areas but, it is important to continue to follow the HSE guidance on hand-washing.
Speaking about the restriction, Michael Cunniffe, Irish Water said: "Irish Water understands the inconvenience the restriction may cause. The night-time restriction is necessary to ensure a daytime water supply is available for residents and businesses for hygiene and other essential purposes. We are continuing to work to resolve the issue at the plant so that the plant can reliably operate at full production capacity. During the day time, we are appealing to customers to help conserve water by not running taps needlessly, taking showers instead of baths and to postpone using dishwashers and washing machines where possible.
