Engineers Ireland has been recognised for its commitment to diversity with a prestigious accolade.

The engineering institution was granted the Bronze Award in the Investors in Diversity Journey from the Irish Centre for Diversity.

Bronze is the first of the three stages in the Investors in Diversity EDI (equality, diversity and inclusion) Mark.

Through its Inclusion and Diversity Committee, Engineers Ireland has put in place appropriate Diversity and Inclusion policies, as well as having delivered effective communication of these policies to all staff. The firm has also undertaken Diversity and Inclusion training, all of which has allowed them to achieve the first benchmark.

The Irish Centre for Diversity works in partnership with organisations across Ireland at all stages of the EDI journey. Its mission is to assist organisations in bringing fairness, equity and harmony to people across Ireland.
