Primary school children across Northern Ireland have been invited to play a key role in this year's Clean Air Day, Thursday 01 June.
The DAERA Air and Environmental Quality unit is offering an expression of interest to all primary schools (P4-7) in Northern Ireland to have a member of the team deliver a presentation lasting around 10 minutes covering the sources of air pollution, effects on our bodies and what we can all do to reduce air pollution.
The first 35 schools to declare their interest in participating in this campaign will be selected. It is anticipated that visits to primary schools will take place in the latter half of May and first half of June in the lead up to Clean Air Day and the team will liaise directly with schools to arrange a suitable date and time.
For more information on the opportunity, visit the DAERA website.
