Water supply has been restored in the County Meath area of Longwood.

Irish Water and Meath County Council worked to deliver repairs on the water network, improving supply for customers in Longwood and surrounding areas.

Typically, it takes two to three hours following repairs for normal supply to restore to all customers affected by an unplanned outage.

Michael Cunniffe, Irish Water, commented: "The repairs have been completed and most customers will see their water supply returning in the next two to three hours. We appreciate your patience and any impact this unplanned outage may have had."
