Irish engineering firm Mercury has taken part in Pieta House's Darkness into Light (DIL) 2022.
People from across Europe joined forces to fundraise for this initiative, which raises awareness about suicide and gives hope to those impacted.
Mercury has been a proud supporter of Darkness into Light for many years. The firm's success in recent years has led to continued growth, new opportunities and expansion into new markets. They recognise the diversity of the different regions and industries in which they work, and adapt working practices to accommodate those differences.
The firm has pledged its commitment to maintain the high standards for which it is renowned. Through global operations, Mercury is determined to make a positive contribution to the communities in which it operates, to employees, to business partners, and to society in general.
More than 140,000 people worldwide signed up for this year's fundraiser to support Pieta's suicide intervention, counselling, and bereavement services.

We provide an extended Employee Assistance Programme which is available to all our employees and their family members. We have a company wide focus on getting our people trained in mental health first aid to ensure we are working together to break down stigmas and in encouraging open and honest conversations around mental health."
