Members of the public have been invited to a number of events to help shape the East Meath-North Dublin Grid Upgrade.
EirGrid is continuing its public engagement with a series of information days and webinars over the next couple of weeks.
The national electricity grid operator and developer is improving the grid in the greater Dublin area by adding a 400kV underground high capacity electricity connection between Woodland substation in Co Meath and Belcamp substation in north Dublin.
Following a successful information day in Swords recently, the project team and its mobile information unit will be visiting locations across the proposed project area this week, including Tyrrelstown, Kinsealy and St Margarets in north Dublin, and Batterstown in Co Meath.
Speaking ahead of the information days and webinars, EirGrid chief infrastructure officer, Michael Mahon said: "These information days and webinars are an important part of engaging with communities to keep them up to date about the latest details of this project.
"We are committed to ensuring stakeholders have as many opportunities as possible to hear about project updates and that is why we are also hosting two webinars. We encourage members of the public to engage with our project team, be that in person, or at our webinars that will take place on 08 June next."
