Work To Start On £154,000 Resurfacing Scheme In Newry

Work is to commence on a £154,000 resurfacing scheme at Cloghoge Heights in Newry.

The improvement work will extend from the Dublin Road for the entire length of Cloghoge Heights and includes resurfacing of the carriageway with upgrading of road drainage.

The work will begin on Monday, 29 August.

To help ensure the safety of road users and to facilitate the works, it will be necessary to operate a daily road closure (Mon-Fri) from 9am until 4pm with the road open to traffic during the evenings and at weekends.

Local access for residents and emergency services will be maintained at all times.

Completion of the work is expected by Wednesday 7 September.
