Resurfacing works are set to commence in the County Antrim village of Glenavy starting next week.

The Department for Infrastructure is investing £134,000 in this carriageway and footway resurfacing scheme.

Work will get underway on Johnston Park from Monday 05 September, with completion expected by Friday 28 October.

To facilitate the works it will be necessary to implement weekday road closures for the duration of the works throughout between 8am and 6pm. Local access for residents and emergency services will be maintained at all times.

Road users should expect some delays and are advised to allow additional time when travelling in the vicinity of the works and are asked to comply with all temporary traffic restrictions.
