Residents in Dunmanway have been impacted with low water pressure due to an overnight ESB power outage at the water treatment plant.
Irish Water and Cork County Council have deployed to restore normal supply as quickly as possible.
Impacted customers in Dunmanway and surrounding areas may be impacted by reduced water pressure and in some instances, particularly on higher ground, intermittent water outages.
Water supply is expected to be restored overnight, however, a planned outage will also be required this evening, 07 December, as production is restarted at the water treatment plant.
Operations Lead for Irish Water, Niall O'Riordan said: "Irish Water would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused when power outages occur and thanks customers for their patience. We are working as quickly as possible to restore normal water supply for the people of Dunmanway."
