FK Lowry has celebrated the importance of its apprentices and what they bring to the business.

As part of Apprentice Week, the company shone a spotlight on Amanda Beckett and Rebecca Connor who have been with FK Lowry for over three years and have become integral parts of the operations side of the business.

Both Engineers combine their practical experience and knowledge with their academic studies at University. When asked about what attracted her to Civil Engineering, Rebecca explained: "I was interested in being part of a team that solves real world problems, I wanted to have an impact on projects both at home and even larger projects abroad. I enjoy getting out on site to get hands on with solving problems and seeing projects I'm involved in being completed."
