Locals in Cavan town have been urged to take part in a survey to help shape the Local Transport Plan.

The National Transport Authority and Cavan County Council are collaborating to develop the Plan, which aims to improve connectivity and accessibility in Cavan Town and its environs.

This survey will give members of the public the chance to outline how they use public transport, attitudes to more sustainable transport options and much more. Feedback will help help inform the development of the Cavan Local Transport Plan.

When complete, the Local Transport Plan will serve to promote Cavan as a vibrant, attractive, and sustainable place to live, work, visit and invest.

Once a Draft Local Transport Plan has been developed, Cavan County Council will publish it for another round of consultation to get public feedback on the draft proposals.
