A programme of key water infrastructure improvements is expected to get underway in the County L'Derry village of Draperstown next month.
NI Water and contractor Campbell Contracts Ltd will begin pipelaying works on 05 June in the vicinity of St Patrick's Street. Work will take approximately 12 weeks to complete.
Upgraded watermains will help improve the local water quality, security of supply, as well as reducing leakage and improving water pressure.
The construction work will involve laying new watermains from Derrynoyd Road at the roundabout to the junction of St Patrick's Street with the entrance to Glenelly Villas.
In order to complete this work efficiently and safely, traffic management will be in place. Work will be completed in sections to keep disruption to a minimum.
