A programme of essential water repairs have been completed in Fingal.

Normal water supply has been restored for customers in Seapark and Biscayne.

Uisce Éireann and Fingal County Council led the repairs, with crews on site from early yesterday morning, 24 May, carrying out repairs to restore normal water supply as quickly as possible.

Uisce Éireann's Tselo Tlou said: "Uisce Éireann understands the inconvenience when outages occur and we would like to thank customers for their patience while we worked to restore normal water supply as quickly as possible. I would like to acknowledge the work and dedication of our colleagues in Fingal County Council who worked through the night to ensure the complex repairs were completed and that no further issues were identified.

"We understand that this type of work may be disruptive to the local community and I would like to thank those customers in advance for their understanding while we worked to complete these works as quickly as possible and restore normal water supply."
