Plans have been unveiled to upgrade two play parks in Lisnaskea, Co Fermanagh.
Led by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, the works at Carrowshee Park and Trasna Way Play Parks in Lisnaskea will involve an upgrade of existing equipment and the provision of inclusive play facilities.
The works are part of the Council's ambitious 10 year Plav Park Strategy to develop, transform and upgrade the Council's play park estate.
Speaking about the works, Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Barry McElduff, said: "I am delighted to see the Council continue to deliver on the Play Park Strategy, complimenting the works which have been completed over the last two years.
"I am confident that the works will enhance the play facilities at both Carrowshee Park and Trasna Way in Lisnaskea for the benefit of the local residents.
"These works help to ensure that the Council can deliver on its commitment to ensure that our people are healthy and well through opportunities to get outdoors, be active and creative and explore the surrounding natural environment."
The works are expected to begin in the coming weeks and are scheduled for completion by the end of July 2023. During the closure period, play park facilities are available at Castle Park in Lisnaskea and Maguiresbridge.
