GEDA Construction and Water Solutions Ireland have completed an £8 million improvement project at Warrenpoint Wastewater Treatment Works in County Down.

NI Water recently welcomed South Down MP, Chris Hazzard and Sinéad Ennis MLA to the site.

Previously, the facility benefited from a £7 million INTERREG investment as part of the Shared Waters Enhancement & Loughs Legacy (SWELL) Project.

The state-of-the-art facility, which included technical and project management support from McAdam, has three levels of treatment to ensure a high standard of discharge to Carlingford Lough.
