Work is continuing to repair a burst to a large water main in Kerry which has affected around 600 customers.
Uisce Éireann is working with Kerry County Council to restore the water supply as quickly as possible to impacted customers in Fermoyle, Gowlane, Stradbally, Tullig, Carrigadav, Killiney, Castlegregory village, Maharees, Fahamore, Killshannig, Scraggane and surrounding areas.
An assessment of the burst and resulting damage to the pipe will need to be undertaken before restoration time can be confirmed, however, Uisce Éireann will provide a further update as the works progress. Following repairs, it may take two to three hours for normal water supply to return to all customers as water refills the network.
Water Operations Lead for Uisce Éireann, Oliver Harney said: "The repairs are being conducted as quickly and as safely as possible to minimise disruption and restore the water supply to homes and businesses. We understand the inconvenience an unplanned outage can have, and we appreciate your patience as we work to return normal water supply to all impacted customers."
