Uisce Éireann Restores Donegal's Water Supply

Uisce Éireann has restored the water supply in Donegal following a technical fault on Thursday, 14 September.

The fault that occurred at the Ardsbeg Water Treatment Plant impacted the water production in Gortahork, Falcarragh and surrounding areas.

Uisce Éireann has confirmed that the water supply for most homes and properties should be restored, whilst remaining properties should expect to have a full supply as soon as the water network replenishes.

Seamus O'Brien, Uisce Éireann's Operations Lead thanked customers for their patience, he said: "We understand how disruptive unplanned outages are and we would like to thank impacted customers for their patience while we completed repair works to restore the water supply."
