NI concrete manufacturer and supplier, FP McCann has been appointed as the Principal Contractor for small scale improvement works on roads in Mid and East Antrim (SSN2) and Mid Ulster (SSW1).

FP McCann will undertake the works on behalf of the Department for Infrastructure.

The services required to be completed in the project are:

• Delivery of Temporary Traffic Management.

• Temporary and permanent repairs/patching/reinstatements of openings and defects in carriageways, footways and cycleways.

• Construction and surfacing of carriageways, footways and cycleways.

• Provision, adjustment and maintenance of drainage systems.

• Provision and adjustment of kerblines.

• Earthworks including verge reconstruction and slope stability.

• Fencing Construction.

• Small network improvement schemes such as traffic calming and management, and civils works associated with traffic signal replacements/installations at junctions/crossings.
