Essential Works To Begin At Longwood Water Treatment Plant

Uisce Éireann has announced that maintenance works will begin on Longwood Water Treatment Plan to ensure the safety and reliability of the water supply in the area.

The essential works will commence on 14 November at 10.00 pm until 15 November at 12.01 am and on 15 November from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm.

During the works, customers in the area may experience intermittent loss of water pressure and temporary disruptions to their water supply.

Uisce Éireann has said that it will be directly communicating with registered vulnerable customers regarding this planned maintenance work.

Michael Cunniffe, Uisce Éireann, said: "This work at Longwood Water Treatment Plant is necessary in order to continue providing a safe and reliable water supply to our customers in the area.

"Uisce Éireann understands the inconvenience when planned works like this occurs and thanks customers for their patience while we complete these essential works".
